Excellence in Reporting award given to Kent employee

On July 23, Mayor Van Laerhoven presented the Canadian Award for Financial Reporting (CAnFR) plaque for the year ended December 31, 2010 to Glen Savard, Director of Financial Services for the District of Kent. The CAnFR recognizes excellence in governmental accounting and financial reporting and represents a significant accomplishment by a municipal government and its management. Savard has achieved this important recognition for the last four consecutive years.
