ACES looking for creative logo

ACES, or  the Actively Creating an Exceptional Society, is holding a logo design contest. They say the winning logo will reflect their non-profit community organization’s sensibilities.

"We are looking for a simple and original design that can be used on all of our promotional material," an ACES representative said in a press release. Submissions are due by midnight June 15.

The shortlisted art work will be available to view at the Woodside Gallery, 2226 Lougheed Highway June 22 to July 2. The public will view the designs and vote for their favourite. The winning piece of art will be chosen by the directors of ACES.

The artist whose design is chosen will win $100 and the people’s choice design, if different from the chosen logo will win $50. Final voting and the award for the People’s Choice logo will take place at the Artists Reception at the Woodside Gallery on July 2 at 9 p.m.
