Calling all Chilliwack alumni
Did you study, teach or work at Chilliwack secondary school in the past 62 years?
If so, the organizers of the school's Hello, Goodbye Reunion is hoping you'll stop by for a townhall meeting on Monday, Jan. 21. They are hoping to rally together volunteers for what promises to be a huge, two-day event at the school and at nearby facilities.
Chilliwack secondary school is in the process of being replaced by brand new building, which is nearing completion.
The Hello, Goodbye Reunion runs Mar. 1 and 2, and includes school tours, a silent auction, basketball games and competitions, a dance and much more. Registration is required, for planning purposes, and is easily done online.
But all of those events will require a strong volunteer base. One of the event organizers, Trevor McDonald, is hoping that people who are associated with the school, at anytime from 1950 until this year, will come out to Monday night's meeting at the school gymnasium, and learn how they can help.
"Maybe there are people out here in Agassiz who went to CSS," he said.
