Stories to be documented by ACE students

The students at ACE at embarking on a new project to help bridge the generation gap, and they need some help from local seniors.

Every Thursday at noon, the students will be available to meet with seniors to listen to their stories. Seniors can talk about anything they would like to share. The students will then write about the seniors. At the end of the project, ACE will be making a few published copies of the stories to share with the participants. The number of interviews and stories completed will depend on the number of responses from the community.

Administrator Sandy Balascak said the project will help document important stories, bridge the gap between generations, and help the students fine tune their listening skills.

Seniors can contact the school by calling 604-796-9496 or email sandyb@sd78.bc.ca for more information.
