Good morning, Canada!

How would you like to do breakfast with all your friends and neighbours?

It's easy on Canada Day. Both Harrison Hot Springs and Agassiz will have pancake breakfasts ready and waiting, for a small donation.

In Agassiz, visit the Legion Branch 32 between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. Or if you're in Harrison, drop by the firehall from 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m.

After that, meander through each community for various family friendly activities (see page 10) and entertainment (see page 11).

For those who love all things Canadian, there are three chances to sing the national anthem. Harrison Mayor Leo Facio will do the honours at the firehall at 9 a.m., and sisters Azianna and Madalyn will sing at noon at the Spirit Plaza, following the flag raising ceremony.

In Agassiz, Samantha Taylor will sing O'Canada at 11 a.m. in the centre of the festivities at Pioneer Avenue.

For more details of events in each community, see their advertisements in this section.
