Lions Den: Car show roars into Agassiz

Car show roars into Agassiz

Beep! Beep! The Lions are on the road this Sunday!

That’s right, this Sunday, July 27, is the day of the greatest little car show in the valley. And, it’s right here in Agassiz.

Once again, the Lions will turn Pioneer Avenue into one of the classiest parking lots ever seen. Old, new, big, little, cars, trucks, classic – all are guaranteed to be a treat for the eye. Some may even be a trip down memory lane – fond memories of an olive green ’67 Mustang come to mind here. What about a Sunbeam Tiger with a 4-barrel carb? Anybody want to race?

Car buffs from the valley, Vancouver, Washington state and beyond will be driving their shiny babies here for all to admire. And they are more than willing to tell you all about their cherished rides.

Family-friendly as always, the car show boasts music by the Foot Tappers, hot-off-the-barbie burgers by the Lions, commemorative t-shirts, and a financially rewarding 50/50 draw. Don’t forget those fabulous Lion raffle baskets filled with all kinds of goodies generously donated by our many local sponsors. Thanks to all of you in advance for you ongoing support. All in all, it is going to be a great day to picnic in the park with the Lions.

Lion’s funds support our community. Last year the car show raised $1,200 for the Agassiz-Harrison Community Drivers Program.

Help us help our town! See you Sunday in Pioneer Park, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
