It’s that time of year again!

Agassiz Christian School (ACS) will be hosting its 10th Annual Fundraising Dinner & Drive.

The goal this year for the School is to raise $50,000 for students, and the money is set to be allocated as follows:

Chrome Books: Thirteen thousand has been alloted for this section. This includes laptops that enable students to access the internet anywhere within the school, freeing up space in the computer lab.

School Comfort, Storage & Security:

Ten thousand dollars toward tinting and to aid in cooling and maintaining heat. Additional storage to de-clutter hallways, staff rooms, and security cameras to help prevent further incidents of vandalism in the future.

School App:

To provide easy access to all school information and upcoming events for teachers, parents, and students. Two thousand will be allotted to the App.

Debt Reduction:

Twenty thousand dollars in debt relief to help with the rising cost of school expenses and tuition relief.

Tithe:

To be announced by the board, with a $5,000, end goal in mind.

ACS offers some unique opportunities to the students such as the benefit of an outdoor learning centre.

“Because of God’s incredible blessings and your faithful giving, students are enjoying the benefits of the centre,” according to a brochure prepared by ACS.

The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, Oct. 28 at 6 p.m. in the ACS gymnasium. Patrons are encouraged to bring cheques payable to Agassiz Christian School at the event or to come on down to the school at 7571 Morrow Road Agassiz in person at any time.
