There are a few new additions to the already popular 4H show this year, says 4H leader and Fall Fair vice president, Ken Schwaerzle.
"There are a couple of new highlights," he said.
The 4H goat club is coming, and they'll be using an obstacle course for their show.
The 4H show will also include donkeys this year.
"And they're going to put on wheelbarrow races," Schwaerzle added.
That's just a few of the amazing projects the 4H kids will be bringing to the fair, along with another big dog show featuring six dog clubs. It could be one of the biggest dog shows in the province, he added. Four rabbit clubs are set to join in, and a horse show, too.
"That's nice," Schwaerzle said. "There is no 4H horse show at the Chilliwack fair," making it a unique local opportunity.
There will be about 175 4H kids coming through the fair this year. As a nearly lifelong member of the 4H club, Schwaerzle is a big promoter of the club.
"It's all about the kids and what they learn," he said. "It's a good program, and a number of the kids move on to do good things in the community."
Former Agassiz Rainbow 4H Club member Gina Flukiger is now working for the provincial 4H board, for example. Schwaerzle's own daughter is involved in Agassiz Fall Fair board, too.

Admission to the fair is free on Friday. On Saturday, admission is $6 for an adult in advance, and $8 at the gate.
For children ages six to 11, admission is $3. Children under six are free.
Advance tickets are available at the Observer, Shoppers Drug Mart Agassiz, Agassiz Harrison Printers, Prospera Credit Union, HUB Barton Insurance, Holly Tree Florist and Gifts, Allenby's Farm Store, Ledoux Hardware and Agassiz Produce.
Admission does include a pass for the rides, which is $35 a person on Friday and $40 on Saturday.
Admission to the Agricultural Hall on Friday night, to view the displays is $2.50. There is no fee to enter the hall on Saturday.
Remember that when the Ag Hall closes on Saturday night at 7 p.m., an auction of the exhibits begins shortly after. Exhibition winners can claim their prizes at the fair office during the fair.
Parking and the shuttle are free.
