The AESS 2011 commencement included the presentation of scholarships and bursaries, including those from the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 32 in Agassiz. Past-President Jim Johnson and President Roy Wright awarded $500 from the Poppy Fund to each of the following students: Francois Gaudet, Jessica Amirault, Evan Janzen, Carissa La Fond, Taylor-Rae Zantovsky, Travis Scott, and Brittlene Schindle. Patrick Hergott from Vedder, also won a $500 bursary, as his Grandfather is a member of Branch 32.
