The Kilby Historic Site is pleased to announce the latest in events with the distribution of its 2017 calendar. The Historic Site once again promises an astounding year, which started on Mother’s Day, where moms and family were invited to tour the museum and stroll through the gardens while enjoying live entertainment.

The beautiful historical site is located on the confluence of the Harrison and Fraser River, and the Site itself is the only reminder of what used to be a “thriving” community in Harrison Mills.

The Site offers visitors the rare opportunity to go back in time to the 1920s with their costumed interpreters, who are on hand as guests navigate the General Store Museum, Manchester House Hotel and Post Office, which was built in 1906.

The five acre site is listed as a BC Heritage site and allows guests the unique opportunity to explore a working farm complete with friendly animals and an orchard playground.

Kilby Park is located on the Harrison River and is in easy walking distance of the museum. The Park is home to a stunning 35-site campground, day use area, sandy beaches, nature trails and boat launch.

A traditional Roast Beef dinner is served at their restaurant every Sunday afternoon, alongside a specialty gift shop filled with unique items from local artisans and producers.
