Annie Lou performed at Harrison Memorial Hall on Saturday night, as part of the Harrison Festival Society's lineup. The concert included storytelling, tunes and laughter, and focused on music from the group's most recent offering, Grandma's Rules for Drinking.

Recorded in Toronto at Sytesounds Studios, the album was produced by multiple Juno-nominee Andrew Collins, and features songwriter Anne Louise Genest on guitar, vocals, and banjo, with New Country Rehab’s John Showman on fiddle, Kim Barlow on clawhammer banjo, Max Heineman (Foggy Hogtown Boys) on upright bass, Frank Evans (Kitgut Stringband) on banjo, and Collins weighing in on mandolin.

The next show for the festival society will be Bentall Taylor Ulrich on Feb. 16.
