A man serving a life sentence for second degree murder, in Mountain Institution in Agassiz, has been found dead in his cell.
James Joseph Kennedy, 37, began serving his sentence on February14, 2007. He was found unresponsive in his cell on Friday, July 12.
Correctional officers performed CPR and an ambulance was called. Paramedics could not revive Kennedy when they arrived.
