Worksafe BC is investigating a workplace-related death near Harrison Lake tonight (July 19).
Agassiz RCMP received a call at about 4 p.m. Thursday, to attend an accident involving a runaway truck.
Donna Freeman, spokesperson for Worksafe BC, confirmed that a worked died in the incident. The organization sent out a tweet in the evening saying "Confirm worker fatally injured in logging truck incident near Agassiz today. Fatal & serious incident investigaton underway."
