BODNAR ANDY
Long-time Agassiz resident, Andy Bodnar Sr. passed away on Tuesday, September 15th 2009 at Chilliwack, B.C. at age 89 years. He was born on October 30th 1919 in Trebisove, Slovakia.
Andy is survived by his wife of 61 years Rosie, four children Dennis, Michael (Doreen), Andy (Marie), Lori-Ann (Ted) and daughter-in-law Bernadette, eleven grandchildren Tanya (Steve), Kristie (Jordan), Courtney (Andrew), Michelle (Phil), Chris (Katrina), Kimberly (Mike), Jennifer, Andrew, Leanne, Alison and Emily, great-grandchildren Brooklyn, Mercedes and Ryder. He was predeceased by his parents, three brothers and one sister.
Prayers were held on Sunday, September 20th 2009 at 7:00 p.m. from St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Agassiz. Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 21st 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Interment to follow at the Valley View Cemetery, Agassiz.
