August 9, 1932 to December 14, 2005
We wish to share the passing of our dear mother. Boots was a strong, loving and
compassionate woman, completely dedicated to family and friends. Boots embraced life fully. We all knew what a great lady Gramma was, but it is nice to see she had that kind of impact on others as well! We her children encircled her with our love; along with the amazing help of the caring staff at the Royal Columbian Hospital 6th floor and the Chilliwack General Hospital 3rd and 5th floor. Thank you to Dr. Brodie and Dr. Chan. Thank you to all who sent love and prayers to her during her last days. Boots was predeceased by her husband Russell. She will be forever cherished by her three children Sydni (Greig) "I'm so proud of your strength Mom, Greig is going to miss your mending and frying pan ventures", Sandi (George) "I'm proud of the way you spent your dash", Jeff (Shanon) "Mom was a lady with a wonderful sense of humor that was loved by all my friends, always had a joke and will be greatly missed"; grandchildren Wade (Shayna) "We'll miss you Grandmah. We'll never forget your dancing you could really cut a rug.", Shawna (Blair) "We were the lucky ones Gramma", Kacey (Jeff) "Give a kiss to Poppa and take one for yourself darlin", Taylor "Find Dolly and Poppa", Neil "Thanks for the memories", Lisa (Will) "I will remember your laugh and your snorts too!", Greig (Kathy), Brad (Brenda), Michelle (Troy); great grandchildren Ashton, Emily, Olivia, Jazz, Anthony, Brooklyn, Bradley, Matthew, Ethan, Brittyn, Brooklyn and Kaylor. She will be treasured in the memories of her many dear friends, Lloyd, Pat, Justina and Ev, her Bingo Buddies and hospital friends. No service by request. Donations can be made to the Canadian Mental Health Assoc or Royal Columbian NeuroSurgery Ward. Sadly missed by all. Gone to be with Poppa Bear.
