Leah, Catherine Rita - Born April 26, 1938 went home on September 11, 2011
surrounded by her beloved family. Predeceased by her son Kerry. Catherine is survived by her loving husband Richard of 49 years. Children; Theresa (Dale), Tim (Lori), Norman (Debbie), Partrice (John) and Rick (Kim), 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, siblings; Annemarie (Alec), Paul (Gail), Bernie (Wayne) as well as many extended family members, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Catherine will be remembered for her wonderful sense of humor, her devotion to family and her craftiness. Countless memories have been made travelling with her husband and family at their many functions and celebrations.
Prayers will be held on Friday September 16, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at St. James Catholic Church with Mass to be celebrated on September 17, at 11:00 a.m. 2767 Townline Road, Abbotsford, B.C. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Catherine to the charity of your choice. “Forever in our hearts”.
