Dora Davis, a long time resident of Agassiz, passed away peacefully on Wednesday January 9, 2008 at the Glenwood Care Center, in her 97th year
Dora was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1989, a daughter Irene in 1982, one sister, and three brothers.
Dora was known for her gardening. She arranged flowers for many weddings. She was a member of the Monday Painters group. She was also a long time member of the Agassiz United Church. During her and husband Bills career they travelled to Africa as a member of CIDA. They saw a lot of the world while stationed in Africa for over 8 years. Dora also enjoyed the game of bridge.
Dora will be remembered by her loving family, sister Lorraine (Stuart) Hood and family.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday January 19, 2008 at 1:30 at Agassiz United Church, officiated by Rev. Neil McRae
