STROTHOTTE, Hella. June 2, 1930 - April 18, 2014. Born in Rosenheim Germany, on June 2, 1930, and passed away peacefully on Good Friday, April 18, 2014 in Maple Ridge, BC at the age of 83. She was predeceased by her husband Guenter in 1992. Hella and Guenter immigrated to Canada in 1956, and settled in the Lower Mainland in 1961. They have been active participants in the Harrison-Agassiz community since 1970. She is survived by her sons and daughters in law, Andy(Simona), Thomas(Solveig), and Michael(Marie), four grandchildren Sophia, Benjamin, George & Josie, her niece Monica and a grand niece and grand nephew. Hella was an accomplished linguist, theologian and botanist. She has touched many lives in these regards. Hella loved to travel and had a great love of the outdoors. The funeral service will be held at Harrison Gospel Chapel in Harrison Hot Springs on Thursday April 24 at 11am. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Agassiz.
