Margaret Rodger (nee Pagan)

April 5, 1928 - April 19, 2017

Wife, Mother, Grandmother,

Aunt and Friend

Margaret will always be remembered as kind and charitable, with tremendous heart, and fantastic wit. Margaret was involved with the church and the community, had a soft spot for animals, and loved to dance. Happily retired and well-traveled, Margaret was the first office staff person of the Agassiz RCMP detachment where she dedicated many years to the civil service. She also spent many happy years employed at The Harrison Hotel in the Convention department and at the Agassiz Research Station.

Born in 1928 in Grangemouth Scotland and immigrated to Canada in 1953, Margaret crossed the Atlantic on a Liberty ship and arrived by rail in Agassiz. Married in the United Church in 1953, she leaves behind Ron her husband of 64 years, son Ian, daughter Maureen (David), grandson Jeffrey, and many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Margaret's life will be held at the Agassiz United Church on Saturday May 13th at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the BC SPCA, BC Cancer Foundation, or a charity of your choice.
