Michael Duncan Dunn passed away peacefully at Cascade Lodge Hospice in Chilliwack, BC at the age of 92. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Marilynn, his sons Robert (Vickie), Steven (Wanda), Fred (Marina), and daughter Tracy, his grandchildren Travis (Nicki), Kevin (Chelsea), Melissa, Emily, Sarah, Tanya, Amanda (Kevin), and Brandon (Tia) and great grandchildren Hallie, Maverick, Brooke, Tiryn, Sienna, Brandon and Aidan. Mike was Area Manager for Rivtow Straits based out of Harrison Hot Springs for 44 years until his retirement in 1988. He also served on the District #78 School Board from 1974 to 1977 and served as Mayor of the District of Kent from 1977 to 1990. In addition he was a lifetime member of the Agassiz Harrison Lions Club. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. He enjoyed many years camping and fishing with family, friends, his children and grandchildren. The family would like to thank Doctors George and Gordon Enns for a lifetime of care and support. As well as Doctor Bull and the staff of Cascade Lodge Hospice for their loving care in his last days. An open house will be held Sunday, June 26th from 1pm to 4 pm at the Friendship House, 7272 Morrow Road, Agassiz BC. In lieu of flowers donations to the Chilliwack Hospice Society would appreciated.
