July 22, 1966 - February 26, 2017
We have lost the light of our lives. Traci was taken from us far too soon. Her cancer became noticeable in September of 2015 with a full diagnosis in November.
She was so brave and fought so hard until she succumbed on February 26, 2017.
Traci lived all over BC from North Vancouver to the Kootenays to Fort St. John and many places in between until settling in Harrison Hot Springs. She is survived by and will be missed dearly by her loving soul mate and spouse Jamie(Jim Curtis), her children Alcina, Sophia and Sam. Jamie's children Alex and Lauren, her loving mother Sandra and sisters Lisa and Paula. To all of those closest, both family and friends....she loved you all dearly.
Traci was truly special. She was always upbeat and funny. Her spunky nature and eternal optimism spilled over to everyone. 'No Worries' was one of her favourite phrases and she lived by that to the end of her life. She was a true delight to know and to love.
Traci was very happy and fulfilled the last few years of her life. She absolutely loved boating and fishing and running the bakery in Agassiz. Traci enjoyed so much creating new treats for her customers. She was devastated when she had to close the doors in November.
Traci had the best possible care in her last 6 months of life at the Cascade Hospice in Chilliwack where the staff went above and beyond our expectations. Thank you.
