HAZELTON


William George Hazelton -77, died Tuesday December 18 2007 at home in Agassiz, B.C. after a long hard fight with Cancer. Born in Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, he was the son of the late William Henry and Geneva Hope (Moses) Hazelton. Bill was a former farmer, working the family farm in Pembrooke and worked as a Stationary Engineer for the Yarmouth Regional Hospital prior to moving to British Columbia. He worked in Construction, and at the Big Bar Ranch near Clinton, B.C. before returning to the Lower Mainland where he worked for the British Columbia Institute of Technology. Bill took great pride in his Rose garden at home. He loved to fish and play with his cat, Big Foot.


Bill is survived by his wife Diane, Agassiz, B.C. Three sisters Seretha Fevens, Lennie Nickerson and Lillian O'Connell all of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, three brothers, Donald, Burlington, Ontario, Malcolm, Hamilton, Ontario and Hughie, Yarmouth, Nova Scotia and many Nieces, Nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his first wife Kay; brothers Murray, Bruce, Walter, and sisters Violet, Irene and Joyce.


Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, December 27th 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Valleyview Cemetery, Agassiz, BC. Donations to the Cancer Fund or a Charity of Choice.
