Battery recycling resumes at Agassiz drug store

The former members of the Kent-Harrison Green Legacy Society have some good news. We are now able to re-establish pick up for used batteries at the Shoppers Drug Mart. Kerry Hilts, of the District of Kent deserves many thanks for finding a company willing to recycle the batteries and to pick them up from Agassiz.

Also thanks to the Shoppers Drug Mart for allowing us to use their premises as the drop off point. The new company requires that all batteries be bagged. So, if you only have a few batteries just drop them off at the Shoppers Drug Mart, but if you have a big load it would be helpful if you placed them in a plastic bag. Thanks to all.

Lillian Martin, former chairperson of the Green Legacy Society.
