Letter: OCP 'remarkably short-sighted'

Thank you for reporting on the Kent OCP Public hearing. I must, however, correct one thing. When stating that the Agassiz-Rosedale bridge had reached capacity, I stated that it has become congested and slow EVEN WITHOUT ANY SLOW-MOVING FARM VEHICLES, not because of such slow vehicles, as you reported.  When calling for a 4-lane river crossing, I also called for a Western bypass from the bridge North to the HWYs 7&9 junction to remove through traffic from Agassiz townsite.

For a 40-year plan, the OCP seems remarkably short-sighted on traffic planning.
