This year's celebration of local grads is set to kick off on Friday.
This year’s Agassiz Elementary Secondary School grad parade takes place on Friday, June 6, at approximately 6:20 p.m. The grads will travel through Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs, Seabird Island and throughout the District of Kent.
The route is as follows:
Start at the AESS parking lot, moving on to Cheam Avenue led by the RCMP
Cheam Avenue to Highway 9
Highway 9 to Morrow Road
Morrow Road to Logan Road, which becomes Elm Road
Elm Road onto Vimy Road
Across Morrow Road to Heath Road
Heath Road to Pioneer Avenue
Pioneer Avenue to Highway 9, heading to Highway 7 toward Seabird Island
Highway 7 to Seabird Island Road
Seabird Island Road to Chowat Road
Pass in front of Seabird Island Band Office
From the office to Sthitsem Drive
Sthitsem Drive to Charles Drive
Charles Drive to Seabird Island Road
Seabird Island Road to Highway 7, heading for Harrison Hot Springs
Highway 7 to Hot Springs Road
Hot Springs Road to Walnut Avenue
Walnut Avenue to Miami River Drive
Miami River Drive to McCombs Drive, becoming Eagle Street
Eagle Street to Lillooet Road
Final destination: Harrison Hot Springs Resort
