Two charities based in the eastern Fraser Valley are among four that have teamed up for a 50/50 online lottery in which the prize could be up to $1 million.

The Fraser Valley Health Care Foundation (FVHCF) and Zajac Ranch join the Cerebral Palsy Association of BC and Variety – The Children’s Charity in The Big 50/50 Lottery, which runs from now until April 15.

The jackpot grows daily, with the funds raised going to the four charities. Tickets are available in packages of four for $20, 15 for $50 and 75 for $100. Sales end at 6 p.m. on April 15, and limited quantities are available.

The draw takes place live April 16 at noon, with the winner taking half of the jackpot prize pool.

Tickets can be purchased at thebig5050.com.

The FVHCF supports health-care services in Abbotsford, Mission, Chilliwack, Agassiz, Hope and Harrison Hot Springs.

Zajac Ranch in Mission provides camps for children and young adults with chronic, life-threatening and/or debilitating conditions.
