An Abbotsford author will be signing copies of his debut horror novel at a Chilliwack book store this summer.
Christopher O’Halloran will be at The Book Man with his novel Pushing Daisy on Saturday, July 26 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The event will include raffles, signed copies, and snacks, welcoming readers of horror and literary fiction alike.
The novel tells the chilling story of Daisy, a nurse whose compassion in life goes unrewarded – and whose death leaves her haunting the husband who failed her. When Daisy returns as a corpse with a mission, her presence threatens to unravel everything Roger Darling holds dear.
O’Halloran, a factory worker, has published numerous short stories and novelettes and was nominated for a Pushcart Prize in 2024 for his short story Charon Swims.
