Agassiz Elementary Secondary School grads scrubbed a Sunday away in a car wash fundraiser on May 16. Nicole Pope of the 2021 grad committee at AESS said the grads were overwhelmed by community support, making for a busy day.
The grads raised just over $650 for graduation fees.
“The community was so wonderful, and we’re all very appreciative of the donations we received!” she said.
