Don’t underestimate the power of students with a cause.

Agassiz Christian School students have raised more than $900 for children affected by flooding across the Fraser Valley.

As the “Raising Hope” campaign continues, the money is meant for personal items and school supplies for students that have lost things during the flood and could be on its way to a school in either Merritt or Princeton.

Every $4 of spare change buys a balloon for the school’s bulletin board, helping students keep track of how much money they’ve raised. To contribute, drop off spare change to Agassiz Christian School at 7571 Morrow Road, Agassiz, V0M 1A2.
