The Lions Club recently made a generous donation to the volunteers of Kent-Harrison Search and Rescue.

The Agassiz-Harrison Lions Club donated $4,000 to KHSAR, which has been used to purchase some much-needed equipment.

Emergency service agencies such as the RCMP, the B.C. Ambulance Service and local fire departments call upon KHSAR volunteers to assist in search and rescue operations in the area. There are about 25 volunteers who put in thousands of hours training and responding to dozens of incidents every year.
