Agassiz-Harrison really came through for the Agassiz Speedway food drive this year.

Volunteers and speedway members gathered $945 in cash donations excluding the bags full of bottles and cans and toy and food donations to support Agassiz Harrison Community Services.

The pandemic put the traditional Christmas in July on hold, pushing the event to Nov. 28 at the Super Valu in Agassiz. Donors also dropped bags of bottles and cans off at the Agassiz Speedway and e-transferred cash donations.
