Agassiz-Harrison has come through once again for another successful Stuff the Cruiser event.

On Saturday, Dec. 3, the Agassiz RCMP hosted their traditional holiday donation drive to support Agassiz-Harrison Community Services. Despite the strong wind and the bitter cold, there was yet again an overwhelming outpouring of support from the community, stuffing nearly three police cruisers full of non-perishable food and toys and providing more than $2,000 in cash donations.

Last year, the community filled four cruisers and donated $1,500.

“Our local communities have once again gone above and beyond to help out those less fortunate in our community,” Agassiz RCMP spokesperson Sgt. Mike Sargent stated. “We cannot thank the public enough for their generosity in support of this great cause”

The Agassiz RCMP would like to thank the management and staff at SuperValu for hosting and supporting the event.
