Amateur photographer creates fantasy composites

Liz Lynch uses photoshop to transport grandchildren to magical worlds

Liz Lynch turns ordinary pictures into something extraordinary.

When her grandson, Jack, sat on an old suitcase in her living room, Lynch snapped a photo and with a touch of Photoshop magic, transported him into a Christmas wonderland.

“I have an idea in my mind of what I want to do and then I can get them to pose,” she says. “But other times they’ll just strike an expression and then I start thinking about what might sort of go with that.”

For now, Lynch’s fantasy composites are a hobby, but the recently retired Agassiz local has decided to start putting more time into her digital creations and wants to start building a portfolio.

“I decided this year that I’m really going to throw myself into sort of these fantasy composites with Photoshop. Cause I think its just really cool, especially for the kids,” she says.

Lynch says if anyone is interested in having their kids Photoshopped into a fantasy world, she will take requests for photoshoots as she builds her portfolio. Her email address is lizalynch14@gmail.com
