Cherry blossoms rain down on a walking path in Harrison Hot Springs. Vancouver hosts a cherry blossom festival every year. Stanley Park was once gifted 500 cherry trees, presented in 1925 by the mayors of Kobe and Yokohama in honour of Japanese Canadian veterans who gave their lives in World War I.
