Community Garden flourished this year

All plots are full, expansion for next year is already full, too

With many people turning to home projects, crafting and gardening this year, it’s no surprise The Agassiz Community Garden flourished during 2020.

During a recent council meeting, District of Kent Coun. Duane Post said the community garden’s 44 plots were filled. Four more are slated for construction, and there’s already a wait list for the 2021 growing year. The garden now benefits from a garden shed, thanks to a donation from the Kent Harrison Foundation.
