Across Canada, communities have declared 2022 the Year of the Garden.
To commemorate the celebration of horticulture, Earthwise Agassiz is hosting an open house, plant sale and educational garden tour on Saturday, June 11 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The plant sale will feature a variety of plants, including native plants, pollinators, drought-tolerant and water-wise plants. At noon, Earthwise volunteers will conduct a guided tour through the ecological demonstration garden, offering a peek into the latest, most environmentally-friendly gardening practices.

The open house will showcase the 58-acre property and feature diverse ecosystems, educational walking trails and the small-scale organic farm.
