Earthwise Agassiz is getting in on the Season of the Wild celebration.

Earthwise Agassiz is hosting the Restore the Wild Open House on Saturday, Oct. 23 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. at 6031 Golf Rd. in Agassiz.

This open house is in conjunction with Tourism Harrison River Valley’s newly-unveiled celebration called Season of the Wild. Season of the Wild is not only a spiritual successor to the ever-popular Fraser Valley Bald Eagle Festival but aims to celebrate local wildlife and conservation over the course of three months.

The open house will introduce visitors to the 58-acre (23 hectare) property and its diverse ecosystems, organic farm and educational walking trails. The event will include guided site tours discussing native plants, habitation restoration efforts and how to contribute to bettering the environment.
