The Harrison Hot Springs Fire Department is about to a get a little extra love.
The village is hosting a fire department appreciation event on Thursday, Sept. 8 at the overflow parking lot on Hot Springs Road next to the Village Office. Admission to the event is free, and activities will include bouncy castles, face painting, an interactive fire engine display, food trucks and more.
Live performances include Cambree Lovesy, Triumph Acrobatic Arts and Todd Richard and the TR Band.
Those who attend are asked to bring their own lawn chairs.
