A local cat took COVID-19 safety measures to a whole new level.
In what could only be described as a social distancing experiment gone horribly wrong, a cat found itself at the very top of a hydro pole in Agassiz on Tuesday (August 4).
Two B.C. Hydro workers rescued the cat from its precarious perch. A bystander had some food and water ready for the harried kitty. After a quick dinner break, the cat made its way into a nearby cornfield and on its way to its next adventure – hopefully with less climbing.
