After a recent bingo game, Cameron Jewell Boucher’s wallet was a bit heavier.
During a recent weekly Agassiz Agricultural and Horticultural Association bingo game, Boucher went home with a jackpot of $3,273, the largest prize in recent years. Boucher is pictured here with bing caller Wilf Charlie.
The weekly bingo games are held to raise money to maintain the buildings the Ag Association owns, including the fairgrounds, the Agricultural Hall, the pavilion, the picnic shelter and stage.
Bingo is held every Tuesday at the Livestock Pavillion on the Agassiz Fairgrounds. Doors open at 4 p.m., sales start at 5: 15 p.m. and the first game starts at 6:30 p.m. For more information, visit agassizfallfair.com/bingo.
