Movie time under the stars in Agassiz

Family friendly screening in the outdoors wraps up summer fun

Get your camping blankets and lawn chairs ready, Movie in the Park is back.

The community is invited to the showing of a family friendly movie at the end of each summer, played on a large screen outside of the Kent Fitness Activity Centre in Centennial Park. And each summer, families show up en masse to take in the entertainment.

This summer, the event is being held on August 31, at dusk. There will be a concession available with everything priced at a dollar, and donations will be accepted at the gate to help make the event possible.

Everyone is encouraged to bring a warm coat and blanket as it cools off at night. For more information on the family friendly movie, visit the district on facebook at www.facebook.com/DistrictofKent or online at www.district.kent.bc.ca.
