The Fall Fair and Corn Festival this year will see the return of a few favorites that have been absent for the past couple of years.

Whether it was the weather, the COVID-19 pandemic or other factors, there are some events that regular fair-goers may have noticed were missing during the past couple of years.

The corn husking competition, the antique tractor pull, the messy fun of the pie-eating contest and Atchelitz Threshing Demo will be on deck for the beginning of the afternoon. After judging, the Trials Stars Bike Show performs twice on Saturday afternoon, interspersed with a round of celebrity goat milking.

Some of the reliable favourites that come back year after year are here once again. The Fall Fair Parade launches from Agassiz Elementary Secondary School at 10 a.m. on Saturday. The official opening, with master of ceremonies District of Kent Mayor Sylvia Pranger, officially opens the fair soon after. The rides and midway courtesy of West Coast Amusements is always a big attraction during the Fall Fair and they will be here this year as well.

A number of musical and performance acts are on deck. These include Los Meatballs, Todd Richard and the TR Band, the Calamity Brothers and Outlawas & Lace.
