PHOTOS: Agassiz Christian School students bring Valentine’s to seniors

The students delivered handmade cards to Glenwood Seniors Community and Logan Manor

Agassiz Christian School students made sure they brought a bit of Valentine’s Day spirit to the residents at Glenwood Seniors Community and Logan Manor this year.

The school worked hard to make handmade Valentine’s cards for the seniors who are living in the independent living and long-term care homes.

On Monday (Feb. 8), students in Kindergarten to Grade 3 walked from the school in the icy weather to deliver some warm and loving thoughts to the residents in the form of a bag of cards and well-wishes through the window.

The residents at Glenwood Seniors Community had recently been under advanced precautions because of a COVID-19 outbreak at the home, after two staff members tested positive for the virus.

That outbreak is now over, and residents can enjoy the cards without additional COVID-19 worries.
