Dozens of families from Agassiz and Harrison kicked off the Family Day long weekend at two events Saturday (Feb. 16).

Memorial Hall became home to crafts, games and a bouncy castle during Harrison’s family event; representatives from Science World were on hand to teach kids and parents some cool science tricks, like how to ride a hover board.

Ten minutes down the road in the District of Kent, more games were getting underway at the district’s Family Fun Day. There, kids got a chance to play some giant board games, including a life-sized version of Hungry, Hungry Hippo. Floor ball took over half the gym, and parents were able to sign their kids up for different sports leagues.

How are you spending your Family Day weekend? Send a photo of your adventures to news@ahobserver.com and you could be featured in our community camera section of the paper on Feb. 21.
