The Agassiz Fire Department hosted FireSmart Saturday this past weekend at the Community Recreation and Cultural Centre.
Firefighters were on hand to provide information on how residents can prevent starting and spreading wildfires. Additionally, the firefighters assisted the Agassiz A’s in a fundraiser car wash with proceeds going toward new gear, balls and uniforms. A dunk tank was on hand for anyone with a strong arm and sharp eye to sink a firefighter into the drink.
