The Agassiz Harrison Lions Club estimates that over 170 people filled the Memorial Hall Saturday night for the club’s annual Warm Up to Christmas event.
The wine and cheese evening is the club’s way of thanking Agassiz Harrison for contributions made over the year at its many events. In 2018, the club fundraised for 4H trophies, Mother’s Day carnations, student bursaries, concerts in Pioneer Park and for a family in need of a service dog.

Hall-goers enjoyed a festive atmosphere full of beverages, laughs and even a little line dancing with help from the Fraser Fishing Lodge’s Belinda Melanson-Arsenault.
Raffles, 50/50 draws and silent auctions helped many go home with more than just the Christmas spirit.
