PHOTOS: Winter Night lights dazzles Agassiz with holiday cheer

Hundreds visit downtown Agassiz as Christmas comes

Before his Christmas Eve run, Santa Claus made a stop in holly, jolly Agassiz over the weekend during Winter Night Lights.

The annual tradition sees Pioneer Avenue glowing with holiday lights, all leading up to Santa's stop at the Agassiz-Harrison Museum. Hundreds of families braved the cold to celebrate their community and to visit with Ol' Saint Nick. Families also enjoyed Prospera mini train rides, facepainting, a winter carnival, food trucks, hot chocolate and more.

The mischievous Grinch of Doctor Seuss fame was spotted causing minor mayhem. Despite his silly shenanigans, the beloved event went off without a hitch.
