The Popkum Fire Department is hosting its 31st annual food drive on Monday (Dec. 2) and Tuesday (Dec. 3).
Firefighters will canvas the Popkum and Laidlaw areas, looking for non-perishable food items, money donations and new toys. All donations will go to the local Salvation Army.
Firefighters will first visit Laidlaw on Monday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., and they will go door-to-door in Popkum on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The PFD asks that those donating leave their porch lights on and secure their pets.
Donations can also be delivered on Monday and Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Popkum Fire Hall, located at 10570 Popkum Rd. N.
