A long-time manufacturer in Agassiz recently gave back to the community.

Rimex donated nearly $700 to the Agassiz-Harrison Community Services Food Bank. Production supervisor Philip Leon presented the cheque to AHCS executive director Grace Admiraal on Thursday, Nov. 3.

Rimex has been a part of the Agassiz-Harrison community for 26 years, supporting local projects such as Storytime in the Park, the future Regional Aquatic Centre and, of course, the local food bank.

Rimex manufactures rims and wheels for heavy industrial equipment such as mining trucks. The local plant employs people from Agassiz, Harrison Hot Springs and beyond.
