Snow settles on the upper portion of Mount Cheam over Agassiz. According to local First Nation tradition, "Lhilheqey" becomes the wife of Mount Baker, and they have three boys – Mount Hood, Mount Ranier and one other unnamed peak. Mount Cheam returned to the Fraser River to stand guard over her people and the fish that feed them.
